YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

AFTER a few tough start-up years, the brother-sister entrepreneurial act of Richard and Niesha Brown is now recognised by Britain’s Language Travel Magazine as one of the top five quality English language schools in the Southern Hemisphere.

Most early 20-somethings might request a loan from their parents to buy a flashy new sports car – not so for Niesha and Richard Brown who started their English language school with just $100,000.

Founded in 2003 with four students across two classrooms, Browns English Language School (Browns ELS) now has50 staff and 450 students across their Southport and recently-opened Brisbane campuses. To read more about the education young guns who turned $100,000 into millions, get your copy of Gold Coast Business News July issue - out now in more than 450 Gold Coast newsagencies.
