WHERE MODERN LIVING MEETS SUBURBAN STYLE

WHERE MODERN LIVING MEETS SUBURBAN STYLE

COMMAND Building Services has struck the perfect balance between modern facilities and traditional charm.

Built in 1929, the Queensmill has become an institution among locals with Prince Charles rumoured to have dined there during his formative years.

It's easy to see how the Queenslander was fit for a royal, featuring stylish architraves, wooden tongue-and-groove walls, solid wooden floors and ornate cornices and ceilings.

The new owners enlisted Command Building Services to return the property to its former glory, with the builder making a name for itself in renovations, restorations and new builds across south-east Queensland.

The Queensmill was stripped to its core and given a new lease on life over eight months, with its original features beautifully restored.

The task was no easy feat for Command Building Services, which managed specialist equipment to excavate underneath the property, plasterers to revive deteriorating fixtures and replacement plumbing and electrical work.

The renovation transformed the three-bedroom, one-bathroom house into a dream family home with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens plus dining, living and study.

The result is a seamless flow from old to new.
