VINTAGE AMBIENCE AT FELLINI

VINTAGE AMBIENCE AT FELLINI

RISTORANTE Fellini is celebrating 15 years with the opening of its new signature wine bar.

The new Fellini bar is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink or night cap and is an extension of the award-winning Marina Mirage restaurant.

Fellini acquired the 40sqm vacant retail space at the front of the restaurant early this year and transformed it to become an exclusive wine bar and cocktail lounge.

Fellini restaurateur Carlo Percuoco (pictured) says patrons can now experience all aspects of fine dining without having to go elsewhere.

“This extension of Ristorante Fellini will see diners now able to enjoy fine international wines, Australian wines, cocktails and a variety of other liquors before and after their meals on any occasion,” he says.

“We also welcome patrons who simply wish to join us for a drink, to experience the new lounge and its unique lux-vintage inspired ambience.”

The luxurious venue is expected to hold up to 40 patrons and features a baby grand piano, as well as a deluxe chandelier, complete with an 18 carat gold tiled bar.

Percuoco say Fellini bar will become the only authorised pourer of Bollinger Wines in Queensland, offering the exclusive champagne as its house wine.

“The bar’s decor follows the same theme as the restaurant – it is very sophisticated and elegant in design and is coloured with vibrant reds, golds and browns,” he says.

“It is very alluring and looks fantastic, we pride ourselves on appearance and exemplary service, and this is exactly what our new bar will offer.

“We hope the lounge will become a popular spot for those looking to dine as well as relax in style.”

Ristorante Fellini has been owned and operated for the past 15 years by the Percuoco family, including brother Carlo, sister Anna Cacace and partners Richard Burt and Raffaelle Di Benedetto.

Together the partners’ modern take on traditional Italian cuisine handed down through the generations has won Ristorante Fellini more than 100 industry accolades.

Fellini’s menu offers a range of rich Italian dishes, freshly altered to suit the season.
