SPYRE Group has fast-tracked construction on its SOKO Waterfront development at West End, after apartment sales tipped $54 million.
Builder Civic will commence work on the seven-storey property onsite in coming weeks, with the project expected to be completed in 13 months.
Spyre Group general manager Andrew Malouf says the development's location and market-leading technology resonated with investors.
"SOKO is set apart by its absolute waterfront location, modern finishes and the latest smart building technology," Malouf says.
"Buyers have been extremely inquisitive about the pioneering virtual concierge system that is being developed at SOKO."
The Brisbane-first virtual concierge system allows residents to log maintenance requests, monitor utility usage, book transport to the airport and access exclusive deals in the area.
The development also offers the latest technology in integrated security and home solutions, complete with number plate recognition for residents and visitors.
"Every apartment will be able to take advantage of these innovations which has yielded strong sales across investor and owner occupier stock," Malouf says.
Spyre Group is also in talks with a manufacturer in Italy to develop the virtual concierge for another development in New Farm.
Designed by Vabasis Architects, SOKO Waterfront features 120 one, two and three-bedroom apartments starting from $409,000.
