PERKS BRINGS ACCOUNTING FORWARD

PERKS BRINGS ACCOUNTING FORWARD
ADELAIDE firm Perks has developed a first to market solution for accountants and financial planners.

Xeppo, a cloud-based software, enables financial service providers to manage data relating to client's personal, wealth management and business portfolios on one platform.

The technology launched in 2015 at the LEA world conference in Miami. It was developed by Perks and ICT partner Opex Technology over two years.

The software provides a complete picture of a client's personal and business affairs including tax returns, funds under management, super fund details, insurance policies, loan details and key contact details.

Currently eight practices are using Xeppo, with another signing up at time of publication.

Perks managing director Mark Roderick says Xeppo gives an advisor all key financial details for a client in the one place with up to the minute easy access on any device.

"Xeppo offers the same functionality as a customer relations management tool, all client interaction can be logged. So clients do not receive multiple calls from their advisers or could refer to the latest changes to their portfolio without having to speak with various consultants in specialty fields," says Roderick.

"From a business development perspective, this also means firms can now manage leads and opportunities across all their business lines as opposed to working across silos or business units, which is often impossible or a very inefficient process."

A Xeppo license costs, on average, between $1000 to $2000 per month to run.

The alternative, being the traditional model, is paying for different software depending on a client's accountancy, advisory and financial planning needs.
