JUPITERS' FRESH NEW UNVEILING

JUPITERS' FRESH NEW UNVEILING

EXECUTIVES and politicians joined musicians and reality television stars at Jupiters Hotel and Casino last night to witness the latest unveiling of its $345 million upgrade.

The official launch of Garden Kitchen & Bar follows the success of Jupiters' popular dining experiences Kiyomi and Cucina Vivo, launched in December 2014.

The evening, which featured appearances by Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich from The Bachelor (pictured below), fitness model Emily Skye and chart topping duo Matt Prince and Jess Dunbar, offered a taste of the restaurant's fresh seasonal offering.

Guests were treated to popular dishes on the menu, including Mooloolaba spanner crab cakes, hot smoked salmon salad, pacific oysters, wagyu sirloin and fresh seasonal fruit paired with crunchy meringue, passionfruit gel and garden mint.

The Star Entertainment Group Queensland managing director Geoff Hogg says the launch of Garden Kitchen & Bar is another step forward, but there is still much more to come.

"Tonight was a great opportunity for us to showcase the venue and provide a glimpse of what's to come," says Hogg.

"We've received some fantastic feedback from guests so far, with many overwhelmed by the venue's impressive modern fit-out and light-filled design."

The new venue features a communal dining area and semi-private dining room, an open kitchen, 13-metre indoor bar and a deck overlooking the property's lawn area and tropical gardens.

"The versatility of the space and its connection to nature ensures every experience is unique," says Hogg.

When complete, the transformation will include an array of contemporary restaurants and bars and the construction of a new six-star luxury tower, which is expected to be completed before the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Garden Kitchen & Bar is located on the ground level of Jupiters and is open or breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
