GRACE LOVES LACE DRESSED FOR BRITISH SUCCESS

IT'S safe to say that most brides searching for the perfect dress have, at least once, laid eyes on a number by Grace Loves Lace.

The brand, founded by Megan Ziems, boasts intricate and affordable designs handcrafted exclusively from fine French and European lace and silks.

Due to the success of her existing showrooms, the first on the Gold Coast and the second in California's Venice Beach, Ziems is now taking her designs to London to join the ranks of other world-famous bridal fashion heavyweights.

Undaunted by the prospect of contending with the likes of Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, Jenny Packham and Caroline Castigliano, Ziems expects that Grace Loves Lace's niche offering will flourish in the European market.

She is optimistic that brides will be enticed by the brand's less traditional designs which embody the essence of the modern European woman.

"After opening our first international showroom in Los Angeles, California last July, we knew that London would be next," says Ziems.

"It's no secret that London is one of the fashion capitals of the world, filled with inspiration, creativity and an overall intoxicating atmosphere.

"We have always been so inspired by the European lifestyle and the European woman, she is the core of our brand. She is chic, sophisticated and full of passion, just like our GLL women."

The new Grace Loves Lace showroom will be a deluxe and soothing haven for brides as they prepare for their big day.

"Our London showroom will have a sexy and feminine aesthetic with luxurious blush and gold accents," says Ziems.

"We want this to be a calming and relaxing space for brides, as we've always believed finding 'the one' should be a stress-free experience."

"We are all about making the process as enjoyable and unforgettable as possible."

Grace Loves Lace London will officially open its doors on April 18.
