GC HYUNDAI WANTS YOU TO TAKE HOME A GENESIS FOR THE WEEKEND

THE STYLISH new-model Genesis has officially arrived on the Gold Coast, and to celebrate its selection as one of the few Genesis dealers in the country, Gold Coast Hyundai is offering customers the ultimate test drive experience.

Gold Coast Hyundai is giving customers an exclusive chance to take the Genesis out on the town for an entire 48-hour period, to fully experience its host of sophisticated features and finishes.

Gold Coast Genesis Brand Manager Daniel Bowden says the vehicle has entered the impressive Hyundai portfolio on the next level when it comes to both safety and style.

"To deliver this luxury sedan handling with Australian comfort and dependability, Genesis was subjected to a 12-month localisation and tuning program, over thousands of kilometres across urban, country and outback roads," says Bowden.

"The arrival of the Genesis not only reflects the evolution of Hyundai, but also demonstrates the exceptional results that can be achieved when new thinking is applied to design, innovation and performance."

Genesis has been awarded the highest ANCAP safety rating score ever recorded, due to features including an intuitive AEB brake system, windshield cameras to detect road markings, blind spot detection and lane change assist.

It boasts an all-aluminium Lambda II 3.8-litre GDi V6 engine, producing a power output of 232kW at 6,000 rpm and 397 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, delivering unparalleled handling and an exceptionally smooth ride.

The powertrain is coupled with a Hyundai-developed eight-speed Shiftronic transmission that seamlessly delivers power, as paddle shifters put lightning fast manual gear changes at the fingertips.

Normal, sport and eco modes alter the steering, throttle response and transmission logic to give drivers the option to tailor to each environment or personal preference.

Those in the market for an unparalleled driving experience would be remiss not to take advantage of the 48-hour Genesis test drive.
