BMW LAUNCH NEXT GENERATION SEDAN

THE BMW 2 Series Coupé has launched at Bruce Lynton Prestige Automotive, with three newly badged models to choose from.

Building on technology used in the BMW 1 Series Coupé, the new range features TwinPower turbo engines for speed as well as fuel efficiency.

The entry point 220i model starts from $50,500 and can reach from zero to 100 kilometres an hour in seven seconds, with 135 kilowatts of power and 270 Newton metres of torque.

The BMW 220d Coupé produces 135kw from its four-cylinder diesel engine, reaching 100km/h in 7.1 seconds and costs from $52,500.

At the higher end of the scale, the M235i boasts zero to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds using 240kw of power and starts at $79,900.

All models come standard with eight-speed sports automatic transmission with gear shift paddles and launch control function.

All models are available for a test drive at Bruce Lynton today.
